I can not believe that October is half way over already! Time sure flies by!

The first weekend in October Justin ran his first marathon! It was so awesome! The two of us went down to St. George for the marathon. I was so nervous for him. I know he was more nervous than I was but I couldn't even eat dinner the night before because I was so sick to my stomach with nerves. He did AWESOME!!! I met him at the 7 mile mark and he was smiling and looked great. I then headed to the finish line. I have never been so nervous in my entire life!!! I kept seeing these people coming in some younger and some older that looked like they were going to pass out. They looked near death. I have never been so relieved as I was when I saw him running towards the finish line with a huge smile on his face. I was so proud of him. He had set a personal record to finish no later than 4:25. He finished at 4:11. That's my man!

I'm thinking of running it with him next year. Justin and my Aunt Tamera have got me pretty pumped up about it. We'll see. Marathon training here I come. Wish me luck!
