Madison' birthday...
Normally the week of my kids' & husband's birthday I like to do a post about them. I like to make a list (as long as the number of birthday they are having) about them. I am a little late for Madison. I was a little busy moving to Texas that week. Better late than never...
Here are a few things about Madison:
1. She is the sweetest little thing ever! She has a heart of gold.
2. She is very polite.
3. She loves to tease her big brother.
4. She is the biggest Daddy's girl ever!!!
She is so much fun. I love her to pieces. She never forgets a thing and is the first to ask how was your day today? Hope you had an awesome birthday Princess!

Big move to Texas!
The last few weeks have flown by quickly! We have started our venture to Texas. After we arrive at the Hartman residence tomorrow I think we will be done driving long distance for a few months. We left yesterday late morning from Syracuse. We had our drive all planned out...we were hoping to stop at four MWC football stadiums. Well, things haven't gone as planned. Our trek started much later than we had hoped for. We left about 5 hours later than planned. Thanks to my wonderful sister-in-law Shannon for cleaning our house...had it not been for her we would have left even later.
We were able to stop at Wyoming Cowboys War Memorial stadium. We were really impressed. The stadium is much nicer and bigger than it looks on TV. We were able to get right on the football field. The gates were wide open. As we were walking towards the football field with our BYU t-shirts on the football team came out of the building (I'm guessing it was their field house?)right next to the stadium. It was a little scary. There were two players that walked right past us and they kept turning around and looking at us. Probably wondering what the heck the 4 Cougar fans were doing on their turf. :0) After that we had car after car pass us filled with players in them. They all drive low-rider cars with dark tinted windows. We jumped in the cars and took off.
After leaving Laramie we drove to Fort Collins to stop at CSU Hughes Stadium. By the time we got there it was around 10 PMish. All the gates were closed and it was so dark we weren't able to see anything. :0( That's what we get for leaving so late in the day. We ended our day in Colorado Springs.
Our plan was to stop at Air Force Falcon Stadium first thing this morning but because we got into to the hotel so late Thursday night we slept in and didn't have time. When J had researched our route we were going to take he booked our hotel at the South end of the campus but we found out this morning that we were going to have to back track about 10 miles to get to the stadium. We had our longest part of our trip today so we decided we will just have to stop there on one of our visits back to Utah.
If all goes as planned we will be stopping at TCU Ammon G Carter Stadium in the morning and will arrive at Kir's in the afternoon. Pictures of our trek to come...

It's been a while...
So much has happened since the last blog. Justin and I both had birthdays. We had our 5th anniversary. And....we are moving to Texas! In 3 1/2 weeks we will be on our way to Texas. We haven't even started packing yet. We have gone through some things and gotten rid of a few things. We are going to be very busy for the next couple of weeks. I am going to try to update our blog more often. Especially once we get moved to Texas so that our family and friends here in Utah can keep up with us. :-) I better go start packing. So much to do!!! Good night!

Jakson's Baptism
Jakson got baptized today. I am so proud of him. Justin did an awesome job! They both amaze me every day. I am so proud of them both. After the baptism we went to Chili's for lunch. We had so much fun visiting with the family. The only thing that would have made it even better was if our Texas family members could have made it. :-)

Happy 8th Birthday Jakson!!!
Jakson is turning 8 on Saturday. Man, I can not believe how time flies! I keep thinking about all that has happened in the last 8 years. It has been crazy but good. Jakson is so much fun! I can't imagine our little family without him. I sure love that kid!!! Since he is turning 8 I am going to post 8 fun facts about him.
1. He has a HUGE heart.
2. He is the biggest tease. He especially loves to tease his Dad.
3. He loves sports and loves to cheer against his Dad's teams. :)
4. He is really smart and loves to do math.
5. He loves animals.
6. He was stung by a few jelly fish last September in Texas.
7. He had 4 sets of tubes, his adenoids taken out, and his tonsils taken out all by the time he was 2 1/2.
8. He loves to climb and a couple of years ago he climbed on top of our car port while no one was looking.
Happy birthday Jaks-man!!! Hope you have a gr-8 birthday. I know the 8 in great was cheesy.
